As the leaves begin to fall, the creativity, energy, and progress at NYHA continues to rise.

October has been a month filled with new experiences, unforgettable moments, and some serious style. Here’s what we’ve been up to:

Halloween Hair & Beauty – With a Scare!

Our students unleashed their spooky side with some incredible Halloween designs, learning new techniques to create everything from eerie eyes to ghostly glam.

It was a great mix of creativity, fun, and skill building - and the results were frighteningly good!

London Hair Show Adventure

We took a trip down to London for a hair show, and what an amazing experience it was!

Students had the chance to see the latest industry trends, explore new products, and ask professionals thoughtful questions at the stalls.

They were polite, engaged, and a credit to NYHA. And yes… Harvey wore a wig - because what’s a hair show without a little fun?

Hair Meets Health: Gym Success Continues

Our weekly gym sessions have become a vital part of our curriculum. Not only helping our students stay active, but encouraging them to think about their health holistically.

We’re seeing conversations around nutrition, sleep, and well-being becoming more common.......because let’s face it, you can’t style a healthy head of hair if the rest of you isn’t thriving!

Beauty with Emma – Creativity Unlocked

Since joining us this term, our Beauty Specialist Emma has made a fantastic start. Her sessions are sparking a wave of creativity in our learners - particularly in nail design, where the attention to detail and individuality is truly shining through.

The salon has never looked so colourful!

We’ve had a brilliant October, and as we head toward the festive season, the energy at NYHA is as strong as ever.

Thank you to our staff, students, and families for your continued support - we’re proud of every step forward.

Best wishes,
The New You Hair Academy Team
