The main purpose of the VTCT Level 1 Extended Certificate in Hair and Beauty Skills (VRQ) is to enable learners to develop hair and beauty skills, techniques and knowledge, which will prepare learners to progress to the next level of vocational learning.​​

Our GCSE lessons are designed to bridge gaps in knowledge for learners who have been out of mainstream education. We accelerate learning in Maths and English to help students catch up and achieve their academic goals.

The Substance Misuse Awareness sessions provide learners with knowledge about the risks and effects of substance misuse, as well as strategies for prevention and support. Delivered by external agencies from within our community, these sessions focus on addressing substance misuse issues.

The main purpose of the VTCT Level 2 Extended Certificate in Hair and Beauty Skills (VRQ) is to enable learners to develop hair and beauty skills, techniques and knowledge, which will prepare learners to progress to the next level of vocational learning.

The basic first aid course is delivered by fully trained local first aiders in the community, offering learners a comprehensive understanding of civic responsibilities and practical strategies for active engagement in society. 

The Mental Health Awareness sessions equip learners with knowledge about mental well-being, emotional resilience, and self-care. Delivered by external agencies from our community, these sessions focus on promoting mental health, and providing practical tools for managing stress and recognising the signs of poor mental health.

We advance proficiency in functional skills Mathematics and English, serving as a stepping stone for future learning.

We empower independent application of these skills in various practical contexts.

Our Employability Skills Course equips learners with essential competencies crucial for success in the professional realm. Emphasis is placed on cultivating a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

The Sexual Health sessions empower learners with essential knowledge about sexual health, relationships, and well-being. Delivered by external agencies with strong links to community support groups, these sessions emphasize reducing stigma, fostering healthy relationships, and providing practical tools for making informed choices.
