Reading Continues
Our commitment to reading continues to grow. Students are engaging with their reading diaries and having meaningful conversations with staff about their books.
It’s fantastic to see how much they’re getting into the storylines and characters—reading really is becoming a valued part of daily life at NYHA.
Hair Show Prep is Underway!
We’ve started preparing for our upcoming Hair Show on June 17th, and the excitement is building! Students are working on mood boards, developing themed looks, and refining their practical skills.
We can’t wait to showcase their creativity and talent in front of a live audience—it’s going to be something special.
Go Ape Adventures
This month we took on the treetops at Go Ape, and it was incredible! Learners pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and showed teamwork, courage, and plenty of laughs along the way.
Experiences like this are so important for personal growth—and we loved every minute.
Harvey and Lisa Got Married!
We’re thrilled to share some very special personal news, our very own Harvey and Lisa tied the knot this month! It’s been a time of celebration across the NYHA community, and we wish them all the happiness in the world as they continue their journey together (both in life and education!).
As we head into June, the final half-term is already shaping up to be full of events, progress, and celebration.
