This half term brought mock exams, and while they’re never stress-free, our students handled them brilliantly.

We balanced the pressure of exams with some high energy enrichment at Clip and Climb.
Confidence, courage and a few shaky legs later, it was another reminder that growth often happens just outside our comfort zone.

No matter what’s happening academically, we always make time for our craft.
From in-depth hair theory to more fantastic creative designs, our learners are continuing to sharpen their skills and deepen their understanding of the industry.
The technical knowledge is growing alongside the creativity and that’s when real professionals are made.

January hasn’t just been about practical skills. We’ve stayed consistent with our reading and writing focus, ensuring literacy continues to strengthen across the board.

Molly - The Real MVP
Of course, no month at NYHA is complete without mentioning Molly, our therapy dog. She’s had plenty of cuddles this month and continues to provide calm, comfort and smiles when they’re needed most.
January has been challenging. It’s been busy. It’s been focused.
But it’s also been proof that when expectations are clear and standards are high, young people rise to meet them.
