As we wrap up the year, we’re thrilled to share another month of incredible achievements and festive cheer. Here are the highlights of December at New You Hair Academy, captured with photos to show just how much we’ve accomplished:

Outstanding Attendance

We’re finishing the term with an impressive 92.2% attendance rate! Considering the national average is around 65%, this is a phenomenal achievement.

We’re confident that we have one of the highest attendance rates in Nottingham right now. Your support during morning check-ins has been key to this success, so a big thank you to everyone who helps us make it happen!

Special shout out to Amelia Britten who is sitting on........100% WOW. Exceptional!!

Academic Progress

Maths and English progress has been on the rise, particularly in Maths! In the new year, we’ll be conducting mock exams to help our learners feel prepared and confident about what’s ahead.

If anyone would like a detailed breakdown of how their child is progressing at anytime please contact us and we are happy to go through this with you. We will cover this during our parents evenings in the near future as well :)

Enrichment Activities

Our learners had the chance to go horse riding again this month, and it continues to be a favourite activity. We also tried our hand (or feet!) at ice skating, which brought plenty of laughter and fun. It’s always great to see everyone stepping out of their comfort zones and trying new things.

Christmas Celebrations

We celebrated the season with a fabulous Christmas dinner for all. The food was delicious, the company was even better, and we’re pretty sure some of us are still stuffed! It was a perfect way to come together and reflect on a successful term.

Creative Arts and Crafts

This month, we introduced arts and crafts sessions, and they’ve been a hit! Our learners poured their creativity into making gifts, and we hope you loved receiving them as much as they enjoyed creating them.

Hairdressing Highlights

Our students have been fine-tuning their hairdressing skills and completed some stunning Christmas looks. Their progress and creativity continue to shine, and we’re excited to see what they’ll achieve next term.

Looking Ahead

We’ll be returning on 6th January 2025 - can you believe it’s almost 2025? We’re ready to kick off the new term with fresh goals, continued progress, and lots of exciting plans.
