Although April was the shortest half term of the academic year, with just two weeks in school, our learners and staff still managed to pack in plenty of meaningful progress.
Enchanted Forest Mood Boards
This month, students began work on their final project pieces by creating mood boards based on an Enchanted Forest theme.
The creativity on display has been fantastic. Learners have explored colour palettes, textures, hairstyles, beauty concepts, and design ideas to inspire their final looks.
This is an important stage in the creative process and sets the foundation for some truly stunning work in the weeks ahead.
A Major Milestone for NYHA – Direct Claim Status Achieved
A huge congratulations to Lisa, who has successfully secured Direct Claim Status with VTCT.
This is a significant achievement and a major milestone for New You Hair Academy.
Direct Claim Status means we can now claim certification for students directly, streamlining the qualification process and demonstrating the confidence VTCT has in the quality and integrity of our assessment procedures.
This is a testament to Lisa’s tireless hard work, meticulous organisation, and unwavering commitment to ensuring our learners receive the very best possible educational experience.
Steady Progress Across the Provision
Despite the short half term, students continued to make strong progress in:
Hair and Beauty practical work
Functional Skills preparation
Reading and writing
Personal development
